if uw= 2x+31 and wv = x+20, then whats uv

"uv is bisected at w" => uv = uw + wv AND uw = wv.
 
First substitute the expressions into uw = wv and solve for x.
 
Substitute the solved value for x back into the expression for uw or wv. That will give you uv/2; double it to get uv.
