Area = 16pi-32= 16(pi-2)
Angle = A
radius = square root of (32pi-64)/A
if Angle A = 2pi (the full circle)
then radius = (32pi-64)/2pi = 16-32/pi=about 5.81 feet
Area = (1/2)r^2(pi-sinA)
area of the entire circle = pi(r^2)
Area = (1/2)r^2(pi-sin2pi) = (1/2)r^2(pi) =
area of a segment = (A/2pi)pi(r^2)
= (1/2)(r^2)A with A measured in radians
r^2 = (2/A)area
r = square root of (2/A)(area)
r = sqr[(2/A)(16)(pi-2)]
r= sqr[(32pi-64)/A]
I have to admit I get a headache looking at this question, as it seems cut off, with missing info, but for what it's worth here's an answer, for good or bad. at least an answer, no one else seems to have tried.
