Question

In triangle ABC, angle C is a right angle and we are given side a=7; side c=9. Find the remaining sides and angle measurements. Round your answers to the nearest hundredth and degree.

This one can easily be solved by using the Pythagorean theorem to find the length of the sides.  The theorem applies to all right triangles.  This formula is: a^{2 +} b² = c².  So, put the equation into this formula:  7^{2 +} b² = 9².  

 

As for the angle measurements, remember that the sum of all the angles in any triangle is 180°
