I tried to solve it; my answer was -14. Is that right?

6^{(4x + 8)} = 36^{(x - 10)}

 

Because 36 = 6², the exponents balance out when

 

4x + 8 = 2 (x - 10) or 4x + 8 = 2x - 20.
