Can someone please explain to me how to convert this?

1.Converting 1.22g of O2 to moles?
2.Converting 1.05g of H2 to moles?

I mean this is fairly straightforward.  If you know the molecular mass of something, then you know the mass of a mole of that something.
To solve one of these, for example - the oxygen question:
The molecular mass of O2 is 32 grams - that means that 32 grams of O2 is 1 mole of O2.  If 1 mole is 32 grams, then how many moles is 1.22 grams?
Let's do a dimensional analysis:  1.22 g O2 x 1 mole O2 / 32 g O2 = 0.038 mole O2

Even though we did this using a dimensional analysis technique, it is clearly a simple proportion.

I think you should try the H2 problem.

I'd be pleased to work with you to help you with this and then the more advanced concepts of stoichiometry and balancing equations.
