Max mixes a 14.1 lbs bag of gravy treat dog food with a 10.1 lbs bag of hungry dog food. if the proportional relationship between the quantities remains constant, how many lbs of gravy treats would each small bag contain if each small bag weighed 1.5 lbs

Max mixes 14.1lb of gravy treats with 10.1lb of hungry treats = 24.2lb

 

of that weight, the gravy treats represent 14.1/24.2 = 0.583

 

when that number is multiplied by 1.5lb/bag, we get 0.874lb of gravy treats in a 1.5lb bag
