Two angles are said to be complementary when their sum is 90^o.

 

So, 2R = 1/2S. Multiply both sides by 2 to get 4R = S 

 

Then, 2R + 4R = 90^o

solving, R = 15^o

 

Then, 2R = 30^o; S = 90^o - 30^o = 60^o

 

We see that the values of 15^o and 60^o answer the question.
