You should use the Chi-square test. Make a two-way table for calm music and angry music and test for statistical significance between rows/columns.

The experiment was music genre & duration of time levels' effect on mood.
2 genres of music / 3 different time levels / 6 different groups of about 20 people each
Calm music for 1.5min in one group of 20 (mood survey before & after)
Angry music for 1.5min for separate group " "
Calm for 3m " "
Angry for 3m " "
Calm for 4.5m " "
Angry for 4.5 " "
we also included variable question of male or female as well as age range (4)
I've done it b4 in many classes, but I am tired of looking through a million sites, notes & books.
