Write the slope intercept form the the equation of each given line given the slope and y-intercept.

 

a) slope=2     y-intercept=-3

 

b) slope=-9/2    y-intercept=-1

    Remember slope intercept form,  y=mx +b, where m=slope and b=y-intercept.

 

Here is an example similar to your problem: Let the slope=m=8/1  and y-intercept=-5

 

Now write in slope intercept form:     y=8x+ (-5).  Now do the same thing with your problem.
