4/(x+2) + 3/(x-2) = 5/[(x+2)(x-2)]
Multiply the equation by the LCD, (x+2)(x-2) to obtain:
4(x-2) + 3(x+2) = 5
4x - 8 + 3x + 6 = 5
7x - 2 = 5
7x = 7
x = 1
