So that's one garden which is divided into 5 equal sections.
One section will be 1/5
Garden = 1/5 + 1/5 + 1/5 + 1/5 + 1/5
Alright.
Now lets start grouping equal sections together. There are two ways to do that!
1. We have five 1/5 to group. lets make pairs of 1/5
First pair = 1/5 +1/5
2nd pair = 1/5 + 1/5
3rd = 1/5
So whole garden is divided into 3 sections
( 1/5 + 1/5 ) , ( 1/5 + 1/5 ) , 1/5
2. Starting over, We have five 1/5 to group. Instead of joining 2 equal parts of garden together, this time we join 3 pats together.
First part = 1/5 +1/5 +1/5
First part = 1/5 +1/5 +1/5
Now we have two 1/5 to be divided in 2 parts. so each part will get one 1/5
2nd part = 1/5
3rd part = 1/5
So whole garden is divided into 3 sections
( 1/5 + 1/5 + 1/5 ) , 1/5 , 1/5
Do bother for more explanation :)
