What is the product of (7x-4) and (8x+5)?

To find the product, we use FOIL method.

Outer terms
Inner terms
Last terms
 
 
Product = (7x * 8x) + (7x * 5) + (-4 * 8x) + (-4 * 5) =
 
Product = 56x2 + 35x - 32x - 20 =
 
Product = 56x2 + 3x - 20
