Since the order of operations for addition does not matter, b + 2a = 2a + b, and therefore since 2a + b = 10, b + 2a = 10 --> c = 10.

asked 12/07/15How do I solve this geometry problem???
How do I solve a problem that says, "If b+2a=c and 2a+b=10, then what is c? Explain how you know." I'm not quite sure how to work this problem out. Does anyone know how?
