A right triangle has one angle of 90º. The sum of the other two angles is 90º (since the sum of the 3 angles is 180º).
An equilateral triangle has three equal angles of 60º, so if one angle of a triangle is 90º (that is, it's a right triangle), then it cannot be an equilateral triangle.
