dividing by a number is the same as multiplying by its reciprocal
6/7 / 2/3 = 6/7 * 3/2
you can simplify before multiplying by dividing a numerator and a denominator by the same number(the GCF)
divide 6 and 2 both by 2 to get 3/7 * 3/1
3/7 * 3/1=9/7
9/7=1 2/7
you can just multiply and simplify after
6/7 * 3/2=18/14
18/14=1 4/14
1 4/14=1 2/7
