Thanks for your efforts but actually the answer is 5 as addition must come before subtraction & you end up with 6-1.

the answer is 5. order of operations says Parenthesis, Exponents ,Multiply, Divide, Add and the Subtract. There are No Parenthesis or Exponents so you would multiply 1x 0 which 0. then divide 2/2 which is 1. equation becomes 6-0+1. You would add 0+1 the equation becomes 6-1=5 =) 6-(1x0)+(2/2)= 5

could you explain how -0+1=-1? i.e if you have 1 dollar in you pocket and i told you to add -0 dollar to what you have. how does that become -1 dollar?

Rules of operations are if there is multiplication and division in the same equation. You complete them left to right. Same with addition and subtraction.

Yeah, I though addition then subtraction so it would finalize as being 6-1 = 5 but Google says 7 too, wtf?

At what point do you discard order of operations and simply go left to right?

I got so mad reading these it’s Oder of operations even though it says addition and subduction you still go left to right so that’s why it’s seven
