Writing a paragraph proof is similar to writing a column proof in that we start with our given information and follow a logical path to our conclusion. Only the form of the presentation is different - paragraph versus columns for our statements and reasons.
Here then is our paragraph proof.
We are given that angle A is congruent to angle D and that angle D is congruent to angle E. Therefore, angle A is congruent to angle E by the Transitive Property, which states that if two things are congruent to the same third thing then the two things are congruent to each other.
