Its apart of geometry homework review and i got stuck on trying to figure what the question exactly meant.

a = 4b - 7 ÷ 7       division is done first

a = 4b - 1              add 1 to both sides

a + 1 = 4b            divide both sides by 4

(a + 1) / 4 = b
