I think that additional information is needed  in order to find x.

Need more information.  I will assume the diagram is of a right triangle, because I need the third angle to figure it out.

 

If one angle is 60 and another is 90, the third is 30 because they total 180.

 

If 4x+14 = 30 then

 

4x = 16   and

 

x=4
