Accuracy is how close a measured value is to the actual (true) value.
Precision is how close the measured values are to each other.
In math, 1 yd equals 3 ft. As stated, the measurements are exactly the same (by definition).
When you measure something, for example lines on a football field, there will be some error. What you think is 100 yds from goal line to goal line might actually be 99.99 yards. I couldn't tell from the stands and this has nothing to do with Deflategate.
So, if you said that a football field is 100 yards or 300 feet, those are precise, but may not be accurate (if the field is not that length).
