3.64−0.3(x+0.3)=x+0.2(0.6x−3.55)
Multiply through the parentheses...
3.64 - 0.3x - 0.09 = x + 0.12x - 0.71
Move all constants to one side and all x variables to the other...
Add 0.3x to both sides and add 0.71 to both sides giving...
3.64 -0.09 + 0.71 = x + 0.12x + 0.3x
4.26 = 1.42x
Divide both sides by 1.42
x = 4.26/1.42
x = 3
