statistics - large mean difference but similar standard deviation

I have three independent variable conditions with 14 participants per group. Here are descriptive statistics:

Group A: Mean .93, SD .62, Median 1, Mode 1
Group B: Mean .50, SD .76, Median 0, Mode 0
Group C: Mean .29, SD .61, Median 0, Mode 0

Through a Kruskal-Wallis H test, I found that the difference between Group A and Group C is statistically significant. I'd like to discuss the descriptive stats first, though. It's interesting that the Group A mean is more than 3 times the mean of Group C, but their standard deviations are nearly equal. Can you help me to figure out what that means?

Thank you!!!
