Gale travels a slap shot that is tipped by Stephanie, who is 8m from Gale. If the puck travels 10.3m in all and ends up 5degrees off from its original path, how mych did the puck's direction change as a result of the trip? Answer to the nearest degree.

x² = (10.3)² + (8)²  - 2(10.3)(8)(cos 5°)

x² = 106.09 + 64 - 164.8(0.996)

x² = 106.09 + 64 - 164

x² = 6.9

x ≈ 2.6
