The angle of depression is <LKI. This measures how far down the observer on the building will have to look to observe the car.
The angle of elevation is a similar concept. Here, the angle of elevation is <LKM, which measures how far up the observer on the building will have to look to observe the helicopter.
For both of the angles, one ray is horizontal. The other ray is below the horizontal ray (for the angle of depression) or above the horizontal ray (for the angle of elevation).
