A plane flying with air speed of 210 mph is heading northwest bearing 78.5degrees. The wind is blowing 35mph from thew west, bearing 90degrees. Find the ground speed and the true course of the airplane.

construct a parallelogram and find the diagonal from the origin. its length is the ground speed, its bearing is the true course of the plane.

draw a diagram, use the Law of Cosines
