Video missing from recorded lesson

My lesson recording with L.T. from 10/2 contains voice but the video of the lesson images is not there. LT tells me she can see it from her side. She suggested I ask for technical assistance. You can write to me directly at ******. I have tried reloading a few times. Thank you!

Hi Rick,

I'm sorry that you are having issues viewing the video. My best guess would be that you might need a newer/different video codec (the thing that codes/decodes the data). Because you can hear the recording the audio codec seems fine, but the video data just can't be read/decoded, or "translated" properly back to a visible image.

The steps I would take to troubleshoot this would be to try to make sure that my video player is fully updated to the latest version, possibly including extra optional codec packages - if available.

Next I would try other video player apps. My preference for many years has been VLC player, but other players are available and they each have their own libraries of codecs. Another player might be able to play the video, but not the audio for example.
