Everyone is a hero when they have to be. You may have limiting beliefs that are stopping you from doing something but if you had to do something - you would. So why not be that person all of the time? You are who you say/think you are.
In other words: when I am off the clock, I can be a bit squeamish and anxious. But when I am clocked in, wearing scrubs, at work - that is another version of me. I can fill in wherever needed and I can do hard things, etc. etc. So in reality - what that means - is that I am always that person. I can do anything I set my mind to or anything required of me at ANY time. The only difference is the mindset.
So I have a different mindset about life now. I know that deep down I am not actually squeamish or anxious - I am capable. I just have to believe in myself and make things happen. I hope this makes sense!

The most important lesson was to trust myself. Through my experience, knowledge, and confidence in asking if I did not know, I had to trust myself to do what was right for the patient and help them. Thank you for a great question!
