Lets write a balanced equation for the reaction that is presumed to be N2 + 3H2 → 2NH3.
Now we need the conversion factor which is 3 x Mol. Mass H2 / 1 x Mol. Mass N2 = 3 x 2.016 / 1 x 28.014.
Factor = 0.216
Multiply the factor by the number of moles of nitrogen given to get the number of moles of hydrogen needed.
Remember, this assumes the reaction is as given above.
