In my college journey at the Rochester Institute of Technology, I excelled as a Computer Science student, attaining a remarkable 3.72/4.0 GPA. Beyond academic excellence, I actively engaged in extracurriculars, receiving the RIT Presidential Scholarship and consistently earning Dean's List Honors, showcasing my commitment to academic rigor.

Throughout college, I assumed leadership roles, teaching Computer Science to diverse audiences, ranging from high school students to adults. As a Computer Science mentor and coach, I facilitated A grades in courses such as Python, Java, Discrete Mathematics, Software Engineering, Cryptography, Artificial Intelligence, and more. Additionally, I tutored various subjects, including math, science, economics, and English.

I’m Joseph Black, just graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Computer Engineering. I’ve been really into real-time robotics, OS and firmware development, automation tools, and embedded systems. I also had the chance to lead the WVU Autonomous Racing Team, where we snagged 2nd place at the 2024 International F1Tenth Grand Prix. Plus, I worked as a Robotics Research Intern at WVU’s Intelligent Cyber-physical Systems Research Lab. Like you, I’ve spent a lot of time mentoring and tutoring students and love helping others.
