Why did the 4th game end with 3 to3 go to a tie breaker

Not sure why game 4 ended 3 to 3 and then a tie breaker was played

Can some explain what happened I lost a bet on Player 1 and it looed to me like they were ahead

It looks like by game 4, Player 1 was ahead 2-1 in the overall match. Since the 4th game ended 3to3, my best guess was that there was a time limit and that since they tied the game, there was a still a chance for Player 2 to tie the overall match with a win in that game. It looks like Player 2 went on to win that tiebreaker, bring the match to 2-2 and then Player 2 coming out on top in the 5th. Tough break for player 1 and anyone betting on them.
