Thanks! It turns out that ⁻:N̈=N̈–N̈: ↔ ⁻:N̈=N=N̈:⁻ ↔ :N̈–N̈=N̈:⁻ is possible as plain text. The trick was finding the N̈ character via the Google search "capital N with diaeresus". Putting the + on top of the central N in the major resonance structure required lining up and grouping text boxes in MS Word. The resulting text box was then copied from Word and pasted into the answer on Wyzant. (Were it not for the frustrating Wyzant size limitation imposed on inserted figures I could have simply used ChemDraw for the resonance structures.)11/27/23
