In general, the graph of f(x+h) will shift the graph of f(x) to the LEFT h units.
In general, the graph of f(x) + k will shift the graph of f(x) UP k units.
In general, the graph of f(x) - k will shift the graph of f(x) DOWN k units.
So, think about how the graph here changes from the graph of y = x2.
What would you do to y = x2 to get the graph of y = (x - 2)2 ? (shift LEFT or RIGHT)
Then, what would you do to that resulting graph to get the graph of y = (x - 2)2 + 7 ? (shift UP or DOWN)
