If you know the precipitate is chromium (ii) carbonate, you simply need to write the ionic equation of its formation. Since chromium (ii) and carbonate have equal opposite charges, you simply need one of each. Don’t forget your states of matter.
Cr2+(aq)+ CO32-(aq) —> CrCO3(s)
