I would recommend looking at the results from your attempt and seeing where you scored lowest and focusing there. Hitting Trailhead and hammering those sections out and practicing in your dev org would be a great starting point. Focus on Force has Data Architect practice exams for pretty inexpensive and that's what I used to fill in the gaps as I began studying for that exam
Salesforce's retake policy allows you to take it 3 times per release cycle (4 month period) and retakes are only 50% the original cost. One thing to note is after the first failed attempt, you'll need to wait 24 hours before scheduling a retake. Then if you happen to fail a second time, they require you to wait 14 days before scheduling the retake.
