Do I use my time zone or the student's when scheduling?
This is very confusing. Could you please show whether the time I scheduled is my time (central) or my student's (eastern)? For Varsity tutors they made it very clear (tutor's time/student's time). My student (eastern time) wanted to start on 5 PM, does that mean I need to schedule 4 PM (central time, my time)? It will show MY time when scheduling? Thanks!

I think it is easier to just use the student's time zone. But sometimes you need to find out if your student is in a special time zone. Arizona is three hours behind the eastern time zone in daylight savings and two hours back in the winter. When scheduling, it will say what the time is in both your time zone and the student's time zone.

You schedule the session to be at 4:00 (which, since you are scheduling it, will be 4:00 central time). Wyzant's software will automatically schedule it for the student at 5:00 eastern and for you at 4:00 central. You tell the student that you will be meeting them at 5:00 eastern time.08/15/23
