Do I use my time zone or the student's when scheduling?

This is very confusing. Could you please show whether the time I scheduled is my time (central) or my student's (eastern)? For Varsity tutors they made it very clear (tutor's time/student's time). My student (eastern time) wanted to start on 5 PM, does that mean I need to schedule 4 PM (central time, my time)? It will show MY time when scheduling? Thanks!

You schedule the session to be at 4:00 (which, since you are scheduling it, will be 4:00 central time). Wyzant's software will automatically schedule it for the student at 5:00 eastern and for you at 4:00 central. You tell the student that you will be meeting them at 5:00 eastern time.
