N^3+N^3=N^3

Question

I can't solve this question.Please help me. I have an example of it

N^2+N^2=N^2

3^2+4^2=5^2

9+16=25

25=25

both become equal.And don't use 0

Please help me.

Since the problem is not constrained to be positive numbers  we could have the following

 

a = 1

b = -1

c = 0

 

and then

 

a³ + b³ = c³

 

as this would become

 

1 -1 = 0

 

There is no solution if a, b and c are constrained to be positive integers  see Fermat's Last Theorem

Hi Explorer,

            The equation you have N²+N² =N² is not the same as x²+ y²=z² , the first one has no solution because there is no real number that when you square it and double it is equal to the number you started with squared. The second equation containing the x,y and z (all different numbers) has many solutions as you have demonstrated.
