Hello Natasha!
To answer this question, we need to take a couple things into account. Our answer needs to be how many kilometers we traveled, but we are only given how many liters of fuel and our miles per gallon of fuel. How do we go from that information to kilometers? Well, there a couple of ways to do so as long as we end in kilometers.
To me, I would begin to figure out how many miles I traveled on the bike. Now I know that is not the unit we need our answer in, miles and kilometers both measure distance and so have a conversion between each other. To get the miles, we need to multiple our miles per gallon by how many gallons we have. Once again, we do not have that, we only have the liters present. However, that is a volume as well and so should be able to convert from liters to gallons.
The exact conversion is 0.264 gallons/liter, so if we take 22 L x 0.264 gal/L, then we have 5.81 gallons. Now we have that, 5.81 gallons x 35 mi/gal = 203.35 miles. Now we have to just go between miles and kilometers! One mile is 1.61 kilometers, so 203.35 mi x 1.61km/ mi = 327.26 km!
I hope this helps!
