Concentration is simply dependent on the number of moles in the solution divided by the volume of liters. Its another word for molarity (M) which is given by the equation: Molarity = moles/liters or more simply M=mol/L
To figure out the concentration of KOH in solution we have to convert 600ml to liters, as shown by this simple conversion below:
600ml × (1L/1000ml) = 0.600 L
Now we can plug in our values into the equation: M = mol/L
M = (0.25mol)/(0.600L) which will give you an answer of 0.416M
