Google has a Diversity Annual Report that measures progress on their commitments to increase representation and strengthen a culture of inclusion at Google and beyond. In 2021, they reflected on what they learned from listening to how social and economic inequities and the global pandemic impacted people at Google and beyond. They took a holistic look at who they impact—from their employees to people who use their products to clients—as well as their breadth of resources and tools. They made a concerted and proactive effort to transform how they fundamentally operate in order to create positive, systemic change—in the workplace and in the world.
Apple has an Inclusion & Diversity page on their website where they state that they are continuing to build a culture where everybody belongs. They believe that this is what sparks their innovation and progress towards a more inclusive workforce and a better world. They have made progress in increasing representation, with 50 percent of their workforce in the U.S. being made up of people from underrepresented communities. They also state that leadership matters for this generation and the next.
Based on these statements, it seems that all three companies value diversity and inclusion and are taking steps to promote these values within their organizations. They desire employees who can bring different perspectives and experiences to the table.
