Does changing the units change this situation?

If I take a shower on Monday and then take a shower on Tuesday that means I went 0 days without showering. If you change the unit of measurement to hours does that change anything? If I take a shower at 4 pm on Monday and then don’t take a shower until 4 pm on Tuesday does that mean I went 1 day without showering since that is 24 hours?

Hi Kevin, changing the unit in this case would not change the answer. This is because you are showering on the 24th hour after your initial shower, which would then mean you showered within the day. Just as showering on Monday and showering on Tuesday can happen at any point in each of those days, showering on the 24th hour is still within the time range of one day if we are being very technical. Although convresationally, we might say that it has been one day since you showered.
