Hello Bryan,
The mass number of an atom or ion is the total number of protons and neutrons in the nucleus. The mass number ignores the number of electrons. So, the mass number of:
"three protons, four neutrons, and two electrons" is 7
"one proton, one neutrons, and two electrons" is 2
"one proton, two neutrons, and two electrons" is 3
"two proton, two neutrons, and two electrons" is 4
"three protons, three neutrons, and two electrons" is 6
So, arranging the atoms/ions from largest mass number to smallest mass number we get:
"three protons, four neutrons, and two electrons"
"three protons, three neutrons, and two electrons"
"two proton, two neutrons, and two electrons"
"one proton, two neutrons, and two electrons"
"one proton, one neutrons, and two electrons"
