Is Tungsten(W) a good conductor of electricity? Even though it has very high resistance?

The idea of good or bad is relative, so I think instead it is better to ask why Tungsten is used despite a very high resistance. The key property that makes Tungsten very useful as a conductor in such things as light bulb filaments is its ability to withstand very high temperatures (it has a high melting point).
