Write equation: H2SO4H + 2NaOH = Na2SO4 + 2H2O
This is a limiting reactant problem because you have amounts for each reactant.
The easiest thing to do when asked for the amount of product is just to calculate the product from each reactant (assuming the other one is in excess). Whichever one gives you less product is the LR and you have your answer.
5g H2SO4 (1 mole / 98.079 g H2SO4)(1 Na2SO4/1 H2SO4)(142.04 g/mole Na2SO4) = g Na2SO4
5g NaOH (1 mole / 40.00 g NaOH)(1 Na2SO4/2 NaOH)(142.04 g/mole Na2SO4) = g Na2SO4
