A commitment to sustainable farming practices by 2032: a policy that would include investment in the following areas: hydroponics, urban agriculture, and natural animal raising.

Include the following points to answer the question. It is your responsibility to present one of these policies to the entire committee. Below, please describe  your strategy, by keeping the following questions in mind:

1. Not all members (if anything, a small minority) have a scientific background. What dilemmas  do you anticipate in explaining the scientific benefits of your policies and how will you  minimize scientific mistrust?

2. Which nations do you think would be the greatest supporters and which would be the most  opposed to the policy? How would you assure both sides are heard and end up supportive?  o At this time, identify any biases, conspiracies/pseudoscience, illogical arguments etc.  you anticipate and how you might combat them.

3. How will you make your presentation evidence-based? You must use at least two learning  theories in your approach (cognitive, contextual, social cognitive).  o You must define the theories you use and explain why it is important to keep them in  mind as you attempt to convince the committee.

To minimize scientific mistrust, I will try to focus on the practical benefits of these practices and provide concrete examples of how they have been successful in other countries. I will also be sure to clearly explain any technical terms and concepts in a way that is easy to understand for all committee members. Additionally, I will highlight the economic and environmental benefits of sustainable farming practices, as these may be more relatable to all committee members regardless of their scientific background.
