asked 11/29/22Tutor with no knowledge
I had two lessons with a tutor, who didn't have any knowledge about what he is turoring. I want to know what are my chooices in such a situation, because honestly I paid for nothing. When I asked him about his way of teaching, is respond was "I am to much as a student". He was offering me to send me the videos from a bootcamp which apprently he is working as a tutor there too which I didn't accept it and now I paid for two lessons that I didn't get anything out of it at all. Could you please tell me how you can help me.

As an experienced/ well-rated tutor in computer science, there are still many areas of computer science where I would be entirely useless as a tutor simply due to the breadth of computer science. I would suggest that you be very specific about the concept/assignment/etc that you need help with and confirm the tutor is comfortable with that content before planning a session.
I would add though that sometimes sharing a video/worksheet/etc can be the best option for a tutor. I could spend an hour explaining a concept (and charge for my time) or I can point someone to a great video and offer to meet later to discuss any questions they have (saving us both time and saving them money).
