Christianity still ranks Number One in sheer world population. Islam next and soon to be Frist.
Buddhism 3rd place, but relegated more to Asia.
Christianity seems more widespread, with more evangelism, charities attracting converts in virtually every country. Islam more relegated to 50 or so Muslim countries.
Hindus and Sikhs more limited to India. Jews to Israel, with major immigration from other countries to Israel. The US has more Jews though, mostly New York, Brooklyn, Miami. Shinto virtually only Japan.
If you "distribution" means dispersion, Christianity may remain 1st place even if Islam becomes the Number One religion in sheer numbers.
Christianity and Islam seem to be displacing more native African religions in Africa.
Or if you wanted to call "atheism" or "secular humanism" a religion, then it may be Number One on the "distribution" "dispersion" ranking
