g(x-1) = (x-1)^2 - 6(x-1)
= x^2 -2x +1 -6x +6
= x^2 -8x +7

Substitute (x-1) in for x in the function.
So (x-1)^2 -6(x-1)
then expand: x^2 -2x +1 -6x +6
Combine like terms x^2 -8x +7
