2 AsF5 (g) = 2 As (s) + 5 F2 (g)

If you put 2.065 M AsF5 and 0.218 M F2 along with excess As in a 2.000 L container at 358.2 C, which way will it shift?

Do we know the equilibrium constant? I think we need that information.

We assume the equilibrium is constant.

Not the equilibrium. The equilibrium constant, Kc or Kp. Not sure we can solve the problem without that info. The way I read the problem, the amounts given are INITIAL concentrations. Therefore we need to find the concentrations at equilibrium, which we can't do without knowing Kc or Kp.

How is the person answering this question supposed to know the ∆Hf? If we had the Kc or Kp, couldn't we also get the answer ?
