Question

A galvanic cell was operated under almost ideally reversible conditions at a current of 10^-16 amps. How long would it take to deliver 1 mole electron? How many electrons would be delivered by the cell to a pulsed measuring circuit in a 10 ms operation?

1) 10^-16 coulombs/s * (1 mole electrons/96485 coul) = moles/s

t = moles/ rate of moles

2) I'm assuming we are to find the electrons per pulse: N_e = t (n/t)(N_a)

or number of electrons = (time of pulse)(rate in moles of e/sec)(6.022 x 10²³ e/mole of e)
