However this only works if you use absolute temperature (K). You can convert to Kelvin by adding 273.15 to degrees C:
T1 = 21 + 273.15 = 294.15 K
T2 = 42 + 273.15 = 315.15 K
So:
1.14/294.15 = V2/315.15
V2 = (1.14)(315.15)/294.15 = 1.22 L
